FSU's Undergraduate Mock Trial program provides an opportunity for students to learn about the American legal system. Students play both attorneys and witnesses on all sides of the case, develop case theories and witness characters, and handle rules of evidence arguments. Mock Trial isn't just for pre-law students- it's for anyone looking to gain a meaningful experience in college!

On top of encouraging all of our members to be excellent, we also know that mock trial isn't just a competition- it's a family.

Our students travel around the country to compete in tournaments against other universities. FSU Mock Trial is committed to providing an enjoyable and educational tournament experience. We host two annual tournaments: the Sunshine State Showdown (SSI) for Florida high schoolers, and the Capital City Invitational (CCI) for collegiate competitors across the country.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, FSU Mock Trial has taken generous steps to ensure the safety of all members. All tournaments that we host and attend are held via Zoom, and masks are mandatory to wear at all times when gathering in FSU's College of Law Advocacy Center.

Our Executive Board and Leadership Board are the backbone of our program. Together they foster principled actions, effective decision-making, and encourage both the success and performance of all of our teams.

Florida State University Mock Trial is proud to announce four teams competing in the 2020-2021 Spring Semester. Our teams carry on the Unconquered Spirit to Undergraduate Mock Trial.
