Mock Trial provides students an opportunity to
learn about the American legal system.
Students learn and develop critical thinking, public speaking skills, and legal practices and procedures. 600+ teams from over 350 schools and over 5,300 students compete in mock trial annually.
Students in mock trial choose between the role of an attorney or a witness and argue for either the defense or the plaintiff/prosecution.
In the fall semester, our teams compete in hosted invitationals. In the spring, we compete in 3 advancing levels: Regionals, Opening Round Championship Series (ORCS), and the National Championship.
