Leadership & Governance

Board of Executives

FSU Mock Trial's Board of Executives (E-Board) oversees the administrative matters involving our Program. Some of these duties include: recruitment of new members, fundraising, budgets, travel arrangements, communication with student governance boards as well as with the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA), case materials, demonstratives, other materials required for competition, communication with other collegiate and high school mock trial programs and participants, communication with Florida State University administration, and calling official meetings.

Board of Coordinators

FSU Mock Trial's Board of Coordinators (L-Board) assists the President and other senior officers in the competent and ethical operation of FSU Mock Trial. To satisfy the Board's duties, coordinators are expected to take a proactive, focused approach to their positions, and set standards to ensure that FSU Mock Trial is committed to success through the maintenance of high standards of responsibility and ethics.

The L-Board, appointed by the Executive Board, and the Executive Board form the governance framework for FSU Mock Trial. The governance structure is designed to foster principled actions, effective decision-making and appropriate monitoring of both compliance and performance.
