Florida State University’s Mock Trial Program is pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual Capital City Invitational is being held the weekend of Saturday, November 3, 2012 – Sunday, November 4, 2012. The tournament will be at Florida State’s College of Law and will have four rounds of competition, two on Saturday and two on Sunday.

Competition will be held at the brand new Trial Advocacy Center. Newly renovated, the Trial Advocacy Center once was home to Florida’s First District Court of Appeal, but is now a part of Florida State’s College of Law. The Advocacy Center features real courtrooms and is adjacent to Florida State’s campus. Teams will get to compete in these authentic court rooms as judges, witnesses, and juries can watch on.

Registration is $150 and teams are encouraged to register early with a limit of two teams per school. To reserve a spot for your team at the 2nd Annual Capital City Invitational or if you have any questions about our tournament, please contact Ross Roberts, Tournament Director at seminolemocktrial@gmail.com.
